It shouldn't be any extra job to do, for the cygwin-ssh client I think
the only thing you need to worry about is to fire up the
ssh-connection (to the linux-machine) from an xterm inside the
x-session, and with the flag -X and, maybe -v to see what happens.
Doublecheck what display has been set to when logged into the other
computer.. should be something like 127.0.0.1:10
If you are running apps like securecrt doublecheck so it has X11
forwarding enabled.
