Be careful, the ``/B'' is not supported on Windows 95/98/Me. Besides, the startxwin.bat file is now distributed with the ``run.exe'' program that performs the same function as ``start /B'' on all Windows platforms, so you should have said:

-2- Add the following command in your startxwin.bat: ``run xmodmap /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xinit/.Xmodmap''
