Is tcp/ip installed? (does 'ping localhost' work?)
_XSERVTransmkdir: Owner of /tmp/.X11-unix should be set to root
Maybe delete all files in /tmp
Look at the rights on tmp, is your user allowed to write?
I don't really know whats causing this, but these are some things to try.
