Cygwin/X disconnecting

Subject: Cygwin/X disconnecting

Is there any way to disconnect from xserver running on debian without X
closing? I would like to be able to shutdown my remote computer completely
while leaving my username logged on and programs running. I don't have any
physical access to the computer either, so I can't login and leave from the
console.
