RE: Problem with 1.1.1

Kevin,

I have seen the same problem. I know that I have seen bits and
pieces around about this from other people too. I remember that I
saw some one had written to the list about a month ago asking if
anyone had ever built a perfect version of xterm. This meant to me
that the problem is not with *my* install, but with the port of xterm.
I have gotten around this by using another term program. It is
called xiterm. I found a link for it while exploring the AfterStep wm.
I think this is the address for it:

http://www.tigr.net/afterstep/as-apps/download/xiterm/

If not goto AfterStep.org and look around for utility stuff. Xiterm
does not make completely with cygwin. It bombs out with errors,
but type make install after the errors, and everything seems to
work great!! I actually like it better than xterm.

Hope this helps!!
Tom Weichmann
