Tried sending this to cygwin-apps (coz that seemed like the
right place) but got an "unknown error" back from my mail tool...
Trying cygwin.

Running Win XP Home with Cable modem.
I download the cygwin installer(2.249.2.5) and launch it.
I go thru the first few option windows till I get to the "Direct Internet
Connection" setting.
I click next and get a dialog which says:
Can't get list of download sites
Make sure your network settings are corect(sic) and try again
I've checked my network setting, tried switching the firewall off, no
difference. I've tried using my IE settings, no difference.
It seems to be trying to fetch mirrors.lst... Can I manually fetch
this(from where? and install it where setup can see it(where?)
Help please?
Alan G.
