RE: Setup.exe: FTP Control Timeout While Choosing Packages


I cannot say this authoritatively, but it is my impression that some 
ftp servers ignore the FTP NOOP command and time you out anyway.

That doesn't mean it definitely won't help at all on any site,
but it may fail to help on certain sites.
