I have permissions for /var/empty/ set to 755, with
the owner/group set to SYSTEM.SYSTEM.
Check to make sure that SYSTEM is listed in
/etc/passwd, and check to see that its UID is 18.
Check to make sure that SYSTEM is listed in
/etc/group, and check to see that its GID is 18.
I'm running Windows 2000.
