I believe that the current version of binutils at least supports dwarf-2
Whatever we can do to make dwarf-2 the default for cygwin should be
done.

Oh, and I forgot, can we get two gold stars for Brian Ford for
spearheading the dwarf-2 effort for cygwin?  I've been meaning to
suggest this for a long time.
