Subversion, a version control system which aims to be a compelling
replacement for CVS, has been updated in the Cygwin net distribution to
This is a new upstream patch release.
Amongst many other things, the failure to understand UNC (\\server\share)
paths, introduced in version 1.1.0, has now been fixed.
On a Cygwin-specific note, this version will not malfunction strangely on
textmode mounts. However, it will treat all files as binary, regardless of
the mount mode, and the "native" EOL style for the purposes of
"svn:eol-style" is LF.
I am investigating the feasibility of having the "native" EOL style depend
on the mount type.
