Nope. The ps output from the Windows List (-W) apparently doesn't evaluate
the UID always correctly.

Usually not. Looking more closely into the permissions and perhaps
regenerating /etc/passwd and /etc/group might help more. Or just
use Cygwin's vim ;-)
