That's almost right, but you mustn't put spaces around the '=' sign.
> export OPENSSL_CONF
Yep, you have to export it too so that subshells will see it. Or you can
even combine the two into one like this:
export OPENSSL_CONF=/opt/abc.et
(This is all for bash shell, BTW).
