Hi, im new to useing cygwin and i'm having some unwanted errors. Well, im
tring to compile some MUD files, but in order to do that, i get errors. But,
i went to Cygwin.com and went tot he users guide, and the FAQ said if you
get errors opening dir's you need to do this: bash$(thats always there) cd
c:/cygwin/usr/share/info - That works, it opens the Dir, but when i do this:
bash$ for f in *.info ; do install-info $ f dir ; done - But, this is the
error:
Install-Info command not found Install-Info command not found Install-Info command not found Install-Info command not found Install-Info command not found Install-Info command not found Install-Info command not found Install-Info command not found

But, the site says that is the command im sapposed to use. What am i doing
wrong?

You didn't read and follow the problem reporting guidelines outlined here:

Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html

FWIW, the script that you list above contains at least one syntax error and the output that you list could not have come from the script even without this error. If you provide info to the list about your problem, please make sure you give the exact steps you took and the precise output you saw.
