From your cygcheck.out:
Warning: There are multiple cygwin1.dlls on your path
Get rid of the one in 'c:\Tools\Foundstone\'. This is most likely your problem.
Get rid of "ntea" in your CYGWIN environment variable. You don't need it and it could get in your way.
Well how about that; it worked.
I just renamed the other cgywin1.dll to cygwin1.dll.OLD and took NTEA out of my CYGWIN environment variable and emptying the recycle bin worked perfectly.
I don't know which piece of advice did the trick, but thanks.
I expect the former was the biggest help for this problem. The latter will likely avoid problems in the future for you. :-)
