Here I see that all the child processes are not ended, this is with rxvt-20050409-4. Closing the window is performed by clicking the "X" on the top right under Windows XP SP2.

Short of modifying any code, is there more information I can provide?

It appears to work okay for me -- but I'll wait for comments on the test release before I promote it.
