I can create and move the rxvt's between the various desk, with and without X11.

Same with cygwin 1.7

I'm not having problems creating or moving the windows. The problem occurs when I switch which desktop is displayed.


Can you create an rxvt window on each desktop, put some content into them, and then using the virtual desktops display switch which desktop is displayed? Don't touch the rxvt windows, just switch around among your desktops. If you also have the problem it will eventually result in all the rxvt windows being blank without you touching them.
