Hi Marco,
I have downloaded *mtd-20050419-1.tar.bz2* from
http://ftp.iitm.ac.in/cygwin/release-2/mtd/ as i did not find how to
download from
http://cygwin.com/cgi-bin2/package-grep.cgi?grep=jffs , link which you
have sent.
The downlaoded tar file contained a *mkfs.jffs2.exe* , but when i
executed that, an error message popped up.
Don't do that. Marco was pointing you to the "Setup Package Search" page -
he was teaching you how to answer the FAQ "What package should I download
to get 'foo'?" (And, coincidentally, there is even an entry in the FAQ for this,
<http://cygwin.com/faq/faq-nochunks.html#faq.setup.what-packages>.
Bonus! ;-) ) Now that you know there's a package out there that has the
utility you want, you should be looking to "setup.exe" to install that for
you. Makes sense, right? Well, at least after some additional information
I'm sure. So see if that helps you now.
