I wouldn't mind doing so on a one-time basis, but I'm not really looking
to take over the package; as you note, I've got plenty else to deal
with. Do you plan to continue maintaining units in the future?
PS, I think that most of ports could be moved now; the only reason not to
that I could think of is disk space! You really do package a lot of
packages!
Given the normal pace of the ITP process, moving *all* of Ports into the
distro might take years. :-) But my short-term goal is remove the
overlaps between the distro and Ports in order to simplify the
installation procedure for Ports' users, see here for details:
