Dear Ken,
if you don't like cygport you can modify your copy by yourself,
as Mathias can do, and Yaakov is free to modify his source 
as he prefers.

As one of the package maintainer, with very very few 
packages compared to Yaakov
(http://cygwin.com/cygwin-pkg-maint) 
I have no problem with this not-existent bug.

Don't use filename with a space inside is a WELL KNOWN
rule of any UNIX system.
If MS made a stupid decision, we should not follow it.
