Hello
I have a trouble using cvs version gnuplot built myself.
The thread is
http://old.nabble.com/pm3d-plot-is-brack-for-x11-terminal-gnuplot-td29903528.html
The replier asked me whether I can know if the x11 display uses 24-bit RGB color or instead uses a
color palette with a fixed number of colors or not on cygwin.
On the Linux, the xdpyinfo command can be used. On my cygwin system, xdpyinfo does not exist. However
I do not install full components of the cygwin.
Does the "xdpyinfo" exist in cygwin?
If it does not exist, is there a way (ways) to know if the x11 display uses 24-bit RGB color or
instead uses a color palette with a fixed number of colors.
Regards
Tatsuro
