- Revamp console and pseudo tty handling.  Rename /dev/ttyX to /dev/consX,
   /dev/ttyX to /dev/ptyX.

The new ps shows `?' for the tty of mintty when the latter is started from the Cygwin Terminal shortcut, whereas it shows an ordinary pxyX for mintty started from a bash shell. Is that to be expected?
