This usually means the service user account does not have the "Logon as service" right. You can change that in the "Local Security Policy" MMC Snap-In under "Administrative Tools".

Gregg, FYI, sometime happens that "Corporate" policy resets that right every boot.

So do not be surprised if you need to set again regularly....
