How to compile vim so that the server feature works?

I want to run vim in servermode.
I need the +clientserver feature for this to work, so I have to
compile vim myself.

I have done this but servermode does not work.

this is what I have done

$ ./configure --with-x --with-features=huge --enable-luainterp
--with-luajit --enable-pythoninterp --enable-python3interp clean
$ make && make install
$ where vim
C:\cygwin64\usr\local\bin\vim.exe
C:\cygwin64\bin\vim.exe
$ which vim
/usr/local/bin/vim
$ vim --version
