Maybe you are right. I've never seen a specification for the HTML
Help format. It would surprise me if it's not, though, since it's
certainly a legal HTML anchor name.

Thanks, but that didn't seem to work -- the bug seems to persist with
any kind of non-alphanumeric characters in the anchor name. The less
acceptable 'secnotepad' does work though. It will have to suffice.
