Apparently jadetex port for FreeBSD doesn't install jadetex executable, 
it only add a directory 
# ls /usr/local/share/texmf/tex/jadetex/
dsssl.def       isoents.tex     jadetex.ltx
> After that, you will get the .ps file.

In what distribution does it lives?
