| What is the right way to get autonumbered references in DocBook?
| (Not even sure DocBook does autonumbering).
Autonumbering is a stylesheet issue.
| This was stated by Someone in the late twentieth century [1].
|
| Where -preferably- the [1] is without [] but superscripted as often
| used in scientific publications.
|
| Using: ... century <xref linkend="SomeOne99" endterm="SomeOne99.refno">.
What sort of a thing is identified by id='SomeOne99'? Xref generated
text depends on the thing you're pointing at.
| How should i do this?
Depends how you're storing the things your referencing.
Be seeing you,
norm
