Hi all,
Is there a standard way to refer to a BiblioEntry?
I use DocBook 4.0, the XML version.
Currently I refer to a BiblioEntry like this:
<citation><xref linkend="Walsh2000"/></citation>
And I define the BiblioEntry like this:
<biblioentry id="Walsh2000"><abbrev>Walsh2000</abbrev> .. etc
Is this the right way to refer to biblio entries? And is there a
standard to use for biblioentry IDs / abbrevs, like 'AuthorYear' or
something?
If the stylesheet is clever enough it can extract the id from the
biblioentry and display that as the abbreviation, instead of the abbrev
element.
