Hmmm, I thought that I could trick the style-sheets by defining the left,
right, and center, inner and outer footers like so:
(make sequence
(make rule ...)
(literal "some literal text"))
It only partially worked.
It mostly worked on one page of a pair and not the other, and it did not
handle the page number.
Any thoughts on how to improve the?
