Maybe <sidebar> is close to what you want here. Maybe you'll want to
use something like `role="pullquote"' to distinguish from other types
of off-text material, so that your stylesheets can render those
differently.

Some sectionning elements have an enclosed <**info> element, which
accepts <subtitle>, <abstract>, and other things you may find useful
for this purpose.
