I did a similar thing recently, with xml resumes as input and HTML &
RTF output. My suggestion for the HTML is to obtain HTML Tidy from
www.w3.org, and have your makefile run the generated html through Tidy
to make it human readable. Also, I noticed heavy use of horizontal
rules. I don't think they look good on a resume. I would probably
only use one at the top under the name. Also, it seems odd to me to
have contact information at the bottom. Is that a European standard?
