If you are asking about adding a number and title, then you should use a
<figure> or <example> element around your item. Those elements let you add
a title, and they are automatically numbered. Using xref to cross reference
them keeps the numbering current.

Is it possible to have text descriptions below programlists and screenshots
?
A little paragraph explaining what it is about ? And is it possible to have
it numbered and cross-referenceable.
What I'm thinking about is, I have some code, and in the bottom I have:
Code 1: Hello World program implemented in C.
And in other places I could cross reference to code 1. And the same for
graphics. So if I add graphics or code in the middle of document, the
numbering doesn't go wild.
Thanks.
