Hi Jesper,

Thanks for the reply.

I have made the env. var. "CC" point to gcc, but still the following error
occured.can u help me out.

Configuring for a i686-pc-cygwin host.
Created "Makefile" in /tmp/build/binutils using "mh-frag"
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/2.95.3-4/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld:
cannot find -luser32
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
*** The command 'gcc -o conftest -g   conftest.c' failed.***
You must set the environment variable CC to a working compiler.
