Re: Urgent help needed-i386 target .. please respond.

Oh boy,

This is worst than Santa Claus wish list ...:>

I can say u don't need to recompile the tools like we did.
U can d/l the binaries frm:
ftp://gcc.gnu.org/pub/gcc/releases/gcc-2.95.2/gcc-core-2.95.2.tar.bz2
ftp://gcc.gnu.org/pub/gcc/releases/gcc-2.95.2/gcc-g++-2.95.2.tar.bz2
And so one...

I remember reading the list somebody explained how to make a floppy with
Hello World... U have to find it.

The only ugly/incomplete/superficial books [that I have news] is in
PDF/HTML at:(
http://sources.redhat.com/ecos/docs-latest/
The best book in town is.... the eCos sources <:o}

The latest pre-v2.0 was promised to be at Red Hat's ftp as a tarball.
Check the
discussion list after the 1st reference to v2.0.

Be aware, there is a residual side effect in the eCos Configuration Tool
that
we couldn't explain yet, by which won't let us debug any file in i386
with gdb
for the past 3 weeks. The way out was to use exactly the above tools,
any eCos
Config Tool and ALWAYS start a new project instead of
checking/unchecking on the
working project (seems to be crazy).

Regards,
Jose Luiz
