Gary,
The board has 16M ram and 8M flash.
The does not have a built in LCD but all connections are there to connect a
external one. Where can I get more info on the SEB238?

It came from 16M RAM, minus space for an LCD panel and the MMU tables.
How much RAM is on your new board?
Does it have an LCD panel?
Note: you might want to look at the ep7312 support (SEB238) which is
probably much closer to anything else for what you are doing.
