A couple of points:
1) I notice in one of your earlier e-mails you are using eCos 1.3.1. This is
very old now - please use the current CVS version. Obviously this won't be
causing the problems you are seeing wrt. cygwin etc., but it may well save
you trouble further down the line.
2) I had many problems trying to get Insight and gdb running under cygwin
(admittedly it was two years ago though). I switched to Linux and found the
whole thing much less painful. Is there any particular reason you have to
use Win 2000 and cygwin? How old is the cygwin version you are using? There
are lots of other DLLs aside just cygwin1.dll - maybe one of these is
incompatible.
