[ECOS] eCos as Java platform on Psion 5mx

Hi,

I tried to find an answer to this question but couldn't.
I'm sorry if it's the 100th time it's asked ...

Here is my problem :
I got a Psion 5 MX and would like to use it to run java applications
(developed and running on windows).
Symbian's java environment is bound to 1.1.8 and a bit messy to me (no
swing, etc.).

So I looked at different project : Psilinux (really too heavy for my needs)
and JOS (not even alpha now).
Eventually, I found eCos and this project seems to have everything I want :
* small kernel for ARM 7TDMI
* microwindow
* java 2 support

Am I right or did I miss something ?
And what would be the required work to do for me ?? just compiling ? some
developments (like drivers ..) ?

Thanks by advance for your help.
Although I'm quite a good programmer, I don't know a lot in OS programming
and can't spend a lot of time on it.
