Re: Disk On Chip support for I386

I am also interested in using the M-systems DiskOnChip devices. I have a 16
Meg IDE Pro device to play with.

Initially I simply want to use the device to boot my ECOS application. To
this end, does anyone know if the cygwin dd command will format the device
(or any IDE device) correctly?

After this I would also like to be able to save log and data files to the
device from my application.
Does eCos support IDE disk drives from a PC target?

NOTE: This device behaves exactly like an IDE hard drive.

Thanks
Larry

P.S. This group has been GREAT at answering my previous postings! Thanks
Again

P.S.2 I also want to use the NetChip 2270 USB device side controller. I
am using NetChips NET2270-PCI-RDK to write a driver. Anyone also working
on this?
