ecos-patches does store attachments. I wonder if something is
misconfigured for ecos-discuss. Jifl, could you take a look.
Grant, please could you post it again to ecos-patches.

Really it should be made part of ecosadmin.tcl. But thats in tcl and
Grant said his code was a shell script.
The basic idea of a script is useful, but since it cannot be cleanly
integrated with the current eCos admin tools, i think its best left in
the mail archive.
