Re: spurious interrupt 42 on i386
Hi
I checked the BIOS settings for the owner of IRQ 10
The onboard multimedia chip and the Intel 82559 card shared
this line, So suspecting the multimedia card I disabled
it but the problem persisted.So I guess the Intel card
is the source of the spurious interrupt
One interesting observation I have made is that if I
do not connect the Ethernet cable to the card then this
does not occur!
Well I do not know what to conclude
