I don't think there is a currently a .pdf of doc-latest. There is for
2.0 which is not too different.
You can build your own though. download the anoncvs tree. The go into
doc/sgml. run the makemakefile script and then do a make pdfa4. You
need various docbook and tex packages for this to work. See the file
README-PDF in that directory if you run into a fatal Tex error.
