- Subject: [ECOS] Time to run ecos on a target
Hi folks,
The exerciese in our diploma thesis ist to develop a datalogger for CAN
buses.
Before we can start with our work (perhaps with ecos), we have to list pro
and contra. So i have a lot of questions.
Questions: - What kind of applications are running on your System?
(realtime apps.?)
- Did you use the GNU-Compiler or another comercial one?
- How long does it takes, to port ecos on the mpc565?
- How long does it takes to put the ported ecos on the
hardware environment?
(time from starting the project to run on embedded target)
- Did you know someone who does it on a phytec-board
(mpc555/mpc565)?
- Did you have any problems? (porting/put ecos on the
board)
- Where are the problems and what were the solutions?
- Did you have other tips for us?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Patrick Baumgartner
