- Subject: [ECOS] Redboot - fis create - erase
Hi ecos users !
I have a question about fis create command.
I do this in redboot:
fis create -f some addre -l some_leng -e0x0 rootfs
fis create -f some addre -l some_leng -e0x0 another_fs
in linux i do in my init scripts:
flash_eraseall -j /dev/mtdx
and then copy my jffs image to mtd !
My problem is I don't want that fis create erases the flash content.
This will be done in linux done. I only want to create a partition.
Is there any fast solution not to erase the flash content of the partition to
save a lot of time when installing?
thanks a lot regards
manfred
