Problem in setting dns ip address

Hello all,
I went through the Paper that is on the documentation page of eCos
website.
I did exactly as was given there.
But when I import redboot_FLOPPY.ecm, I get the dns part grayed.
I mean I cannot change the dns IP address. Plzz help me.
