- Subject: [ECOS] Set time & date for IXP425
Dear RedBoot users,
My IXP425 board comes with a RedBoot v1.92p1. After MontaVista boots, I
found the pre-configured time is Jan 1, UTC 1970.
Although I can change software time and date under MontaVista, I am not
able to synchronize hardware time using "hwclock". It says /dev/misc/rtc
does not exist and there is no method to access the Hardware Clock.
Besides, I prefer setting hardware time under RedBoot instead. But it
seems RedBoot UserGuide does not elaborate on how to accomplish this. I
would appreciate it if someone can give me some pointer.
Regards,
Zhigao
