- Subject: [ECOS] getting started question
Sorry for the rookie questions here,
I have installed ecos and the mips tools on my pc and
I have tried to create a build tree with the configtool,
But I'm sure I'm doing something wrong..
Seems like I need to have an "ecos.ecc" file before I run
The configtool. I tried to create one with
Ecosconfig new atlas_mips32_4kc
I get lots of error messages (pages and pages of them) like the
following:
ecos.db, package CYGPKG_HAL_POWERPC_MBX: warning
This package does not have any valid version subdirectories.
ecos.db, package CYGPKG_HAL_POWERPC_VIPER: warning
Version subdirectory `viper' does not have a CDL
script`hal_powerpc_viper.c
dl'.
And like the following:
Hardware selection: warning
The target specification lists a package `CYGPKG_HAL_MIPS' which is
not present in the component repository.
When I run the configtool, it just seems to comeup, runthrough all of
the error messages and then quit...
Could anyone tell me what is up, and how I can proceed?
Thanks
mike
