- Subject: [ECOS] Problem with redboot ip_address command
- Bcc:
hello everyone
I am new in the eCos world.
I'm trying to install it on a PC motherboard (Intel Celeron CPU)
I'm booting Redboot from a floppy disk, and it always displays me
"No network interfaces found"
If I try to use the command ip_address or even a ping , I always get some
chars printed such as : "$T08:fff...", and wathever I type then, it always
prints me more chars.
When I used the eCos configurator, I took care to import the
"redboot_FLOPPY.ecm" file and to set the correct template. I also tried to
use the other .ecm files from the PC directory, the file "redboot_ROM.ecm"
does not even display me the redboot prompt. I have checked that my ethernet
PCI card is using the Intel 82559 driver, but it still doesn't want to work.
Please help me
Thanks in advance
Philippe
