A good place to start would be to look at how the existing ones were
created. Look in if_npe.c for:
RedBoot_config_option("Network hardware address [MAC] for NPE eth0",
npe_eth0_esa,
ALWAYS_ENABLED, true,
CONFIG_ESA, npe_eth0_priv_data.mac_address
);
