You don't really need this. Use your existing DNS server. All that is required is a few entries in its database. Also, i doubt you need much bandwidth. It will only get queried when someone runs the dns1 or dns2 tests.
Talk to the maintainers of kanin.arnes.si and ns.elsis.si. These are your DNS servers. We don't require that much:
ns.elsis.si==ns.vsr.si==kasica.elsis.si==www.vsr.si==www.elsis.si where I'm the administrator.
kasica.elsis.si is our common DNS and mail and internet server for Elsis and Vsr . It's an old Celeron 433 and has only one NIC on the motherboard and lacks PCI bus. I allready have a replacement machine for it and intend to replace it by the end of this month (to the same IP).
Due to the relatively high traffic on the www.vsr.si/ecos I think it would be much better to have an eCos dedicated server here. Besides the internet test server, the CVS docs can reside there.
A dedicated server also means that we can furher extend it's functionality in future (anything non commercial regarding eCos can reside there). That also means the server can be maintained by the eCos maintainers themselves, besides me (at least when I'm on a leave).
