Yes, its still valid. I didn't realise you had one.

Having said that, we are now encouraging people to assign patches to
eCosCentric/FSF since we plan to move everything over to the FSF. Your
RedHat assignment is OK for the moment, but once RedHat transfers the
code it owns your current assignment will no longer be valid i think.

It depends on the precise wording of Red Hat's assignment in due course, but at a guess it probably wouldn't be valid.
