The authors of Debugging with GDB are still
listed in the file as Richard Stallman and Roland Pesch.
I was told several years ago that Pesch no longer
wished to be listed as author, and that we should
use "Cygnus Support" (and later "... Solutions",
of course).
I don't really care who gets listed as the author,
but it would be nice if it was decided what the
authorship should be.
